These terms describe the current operating rules for the LinkOS prototype in plain English.
Prototype service
LinkOS is currently an experimental prototype. The service may be incomplete, unstable, changed without notice, paused, or removed entirely while we evaluate ideas and infrastructure.
Account access
Access is currently provided through GitHub OAuth. During sign-in, we obtain your GitHub username and email address so we can identify your account inside the prototype.
Storage and hosting
The service is deployed on Cloudflare. User account information and stored files are handled on Cloudflare infrastructure, and some traffic is relayed through a server in Germany.
No sensitive data
All data in the prototype should be treated as server-side plain text. You agree not to store passwords, private keys, confidential business material, personal health information, or other sensitive content in LinkOS during this phase.
Deletion and resets
Because this is a prototype, data may be deleted at any time. We also expect to delete all prototype data once this phase ends. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you care about.
Use at your own discretion
By using LinkOS during the prototype, you accept these limitations and understand that availability, retention, and feature behavior are not guaranteed.
